Cellular shades, pleated shades, roller blinds, and blackout curtains all share one engineering problem — a core layer that must block light completely, laminate cleanly, and survive years of direct sun. ES-VM Plus was built for exactly this.
Hotel, hospital, and bedroom shade programs specify full blackout. ES-VM Plus reaches ≈ 0% light transmittance — the film itself is the blackout layer, so grade consistency does not depend on coating passes.
Shades face direct sunlight for their whole service life. The aluminum layer passes UV-aging testing — resistant to oxidation and discoloration, protecting both blackout performance and appearance.
Surface tension is tuned for lamination (AL side ≥ 48 mN/m, non-Al side ≥ 44 mN/m). We also laminate with non-woven fabric in-house and can ship a ready blackout composite — one roll, one supplier.
