The mirror aluminum surface that makes blackout shades work is the same physics behind radiant-barrier insulation, thermal screens, and emergency blankets — high reflectivity in a 12 μm film.
ES-H03 (OTR ≤ 0.1, WVTR ≤ 0.3) protects moisture-sensitive electronics; metallized structures are the standard core of shielding and barrier bag laminates.
